About AIE and the Conference
AIE (Advanced Institute of Endourology) is a program conceptualized by the Minimal Access Surgery Training Institute, an initiative of Shyam Specialty Hospital. Under AIE, specialized training programs are organized every three months for endourologists across India, aiming to advance their skills and knowledge in minimally invasive urological procedures.

In its ongoing commitment to bringing the best talents and expertise together on a single platform, AIE also organizes a major conference on Uro-endoscopic surgery once every two years.

The inaugural conference was successfully held in 2013, followed by the second edition in 2016, the third in 2018, the fourth in 2019, the fifth in 2022, and the sixth in 2023.

The upcoming seventh conference, scheduled for 19th, 20th, and 21st December 2025, promises to showcase the finest in endoscopic stone and prostate surgeries through a live operative workshop, featuring renowned experts from across the globe.

About the Minimal Access Surgery Training Institute
The Minimal Access Surgery Training Institute was established as a tribute to Prof. Shri Priyakant Parikh, a towering figure in Gujarati literature, known for authoring over 100 novels and earning numerous prestigious awards. A distinguished educationist, Shri Parikh dedicated his life to nurturing young talents and promoting learning in his field.

His son, Dr. Kandarp Parikh, continues this legacy of education and excellence. A highly respected Laparoscopic and Endoscopic Urosurgeon based in Ahmedabad, Dr. Parikh’s passion for academics and his commitment to the urology community inspired him to establish and nurture this initiative, fostering growth and innovation in endourological training.
